At Serving Humanity Foundation, our mission is to channel and distribute wealth and resources to the vulnerable and less fortunate in our local and global communities, in countries like Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and Malawi, as well as the UK.
We aim to improve living standards and offer fair opportunities for a better quality of life. By providing essential services like food, shelter, medical care, and education, we empower individuals to build a brighter future.

Our Story
In 2016, three friends Ash Khan, Imran Jawed, and Mohammed Patel felt inspired to make a difference after a life-changing trip to Gambia in 2013. Witnessing the hardships in the village of Brufut, they felt a strong obligation to help. Motivated by the gratitude they received, they returned to the UK with a mission to serve humanity.
They began by driving around the city of London late at night, delivering food and drinks to rough sleepers. The demand for their services quickly grew, and with the support of Al Madina Mosque in Barking, Essex, they established their first hot meal hub in central London, serving over 100 rough sleepers weekly.
By 2021, Ash, along with six new trustees, had formed a registered charity. Serving Humanity now supports several local homeless shelters, managing a weekly food bank and distributing over a tonne of food and drink each month. Our efforts have also expanded internationally, installing water pumps, building community centres, and constructing residential micro homes abroad.

Our Impact
Serving the communities of East London and beyond
Since its inception in 2016, Serving Humanity Foundation has made a profound impact both locally and internationally.
In the UK, we’ve provided vital support to homeless communities, serving hot meals to over 100 individuals weekly and distributing substantial quantities of food through our local food bank.
Internationally, we’ve installed water pumps, constructed community centres, and built residential micro homes in areas of need, improving living conditions and fostering sustainable development.
